After many years of returning to these high alpine rocks, where the ibex rule their ancient domain, I feel an ever-deepening connection with them. It is a dialogue that has unfolded over time—a silent exchange in which I read their tracks, and they seem to know me, even if we don’t always see each other. Our paths have crossed again and again, as if each visit were another chapter in this quiet story.

Hidden from the eyes of the world, a separate dimension reveals itself — a dream world, as if created by Mother Nature, the greatest of all artists. These glacier caves, inaccessible to ordinary beings, resemble cathedrals of ice, filled with a reverent silence and at the same time a powerful presence. They are monuments of change, forged by time and elements.

Gently wrapped in the darkness of night, the gaze wanders over a carpet of delicate cotton grass, adorning like a fleeting dream the heights of a wetland above 2000 meters. Still water, nourished by the glaciers of the mountains, reflects the distant peaks and carries time in its motionless depths.

The glaciers – fragile giants and sources of life in the high alpine heights. They gift the valleys with the water they need to breathe and hold a beauty as raw and fleeting as the ice itself. Over 3000 meters above sea level, I find a world that reveals itself only to those willing to test their limits.

In the last backlight of the day, where the sun hesitantly withdraws, fine water particles dance in the mist of a roaring waterfall. These floating droplets catch the light and transform it into visible rays – like drawn lines on a hidden canvas.

With eyes sharper than any human tool, he perceives every movement, every whisper of nature. His gaze pierces the vastness, his wings cast shadows over the land, and in his dives – reaching speeds of up to 320 km/h – he becomes one with the storm: a symphony of elegance and raw power.
